Each day Lifeline's trained volunteers take almost 100 calls from people from all walks of life. Despite their very best efforts, we lose one Canberran to suicide every week. That's one too many and with their support, we believe this is preventable.

Lifeline Canberra telephone crisis supporters listen with care and acceptance, whatever the circumstance, and provide support and information to people in need. As an integral part of the Canberra landscape, we continue to promote community and individual resilience. Each day our staff and volunteers fight to save the next life.
